This is a liminal space Iching divination site. The place between worlds and reality where potentialities are the guiding lights. Energies move along prevailing winds, unseen forces that are yet felt, imagined, intuited and through the casting process divined. The probabilities of the yarrow stick method and the coin throwing method are fixed yet in this system get conditioned by the energy of the exact time of casting represented by the 4 pillar Chinese Astrology seen in the Pillar lefthand panel. Each moment is unique and the quality of the time of casting subtly conditions each line. Each individual is also unique and optionally you can represent yourself in the casting by entering your birthdate in the Pillar panel.
After casting the Iching, The Meaning panel includes interpretations of the hexagrams and the changing lines if any. Currently the interpretations are verbose and this will eventually have an extended and concise options. The Pillar panel includes the Wen Wang Gua Stars and Elements of each line. At this time they are not explained and further roll-outs will include more features around Wen Wang Gua. At the bottom is the Casting Timeline where you will be able to see your past castings, click to bring them up and download the pdf.
The Casting Vessel in the center is an ancient Chinese Ding vessel that was reserved for cooking offerings of food for the ancestor spirits that assured success if properly propitiated. The floating symbols are the ancient chinese pictographs for the hexagrams. The grey background symbols are intimately related to the core ideology of the Iching; symbols for change, the spirit and the ghost river, among others. The grey streaks that leave subtle marks on the black field represent the impressions of the collective that create a field of its own. The invitation is to enter this liminal space where possibilities are realities interacting through luminous spirit energies. Upon the field of infinite potential the collective canvas is stretched. Culture emerges from the intelligence of a shared sense of being. The knowledge of what's moving unseen beneath the surface of our perceptions is spoken through the language of lines, signs and symbols encoded in the Iching. It is the aspiration through relating to this encoding that truth maybe deciphered, engendering harmony, balance and peace for the individual and resonant wholeness and vibrant creativity for the collective.
